In compliance with airport security requirements, the combination to the parking lot gate cannot be given out. For access, please use the intercom adjacent to the gate during normal business hours. For access to the ramp after hours, please go through Mid-Island Air Services.

UPDATED INFORMATION - September 1, 2007

Garmin 400/500 Series WAAS Upgrade Program: As of Spetember 1^st the cost of the factory upgrade has increased to $2,995.00 per unit. Labor and shipping charges are not included in this cost.

To help make the upgrade process as smooth as possible we are providing the following details about the installation process and any compatibility issues we have come across.

Please take note: When you upgrade your unit to be WAAS capable, you must also update your Jeppesen Database subscription. A non-WAAS database will not work with a WAAS upgraded unit.

A New York State tax exemption, in effect since Dec 1, 2004, has been approved for aircraft maintenance. This applies to labor, parts, equipment and materials used in the maintenance and upgrades to aircraft. It also applies to headsets used by the flight crew. The exemption does not apply to uninstalled equipment or to other portable equipment.
